Grilled Open-Face Herbed Goat Cheese Sandwich with Nectarines and Walnuts


  • 1 loaf sourdough or sweet baguette
  • 4 oz herbed goat cheese
  • ½ c walnuts, lightly toasted and chopped
  • 3-4 perfectly ripe nectarines
  • 2-3 T balsamic vinegar glaze
  • watercress leaves, for garnish
  • 1 c balsamic vinegar
