Grilled Scallops with Tomato-Onion Relish
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill
- 24 sea scallops (1 1/2 pound), tough muscle removed from side of each
- Vegetable oil
- ½ cup red onion
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 large tomato

- 4 teaspoons red-wine vinegar
Prepare grill for cooking. Soak onion in 1 cup water with 1/2 teaspoon salt 15 minutes, then drain.
