Gumbo 13
Ingredients
- 4 quart(s) water
- rice, cooked
- 3 tablespoon(s) File gumbo seasoning or season to taste
- 2 tablespoon(s) salt
- 2 stalk(s) celery, chopped
- 2 onions chopped
- 1 cup(s) flour

- ¾ cup(s) cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon(s) Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon(s) red pepper
- 1 chicken,squirrel, or venison
- 2 pound(s) sausage
- 1 cup(s) green onions chopped
- 1 cup(s) bell pepper
Mix oil and flour in iron skillet to make roux. Cook until medium dark brown, stirring mixture constantly. This takes approx 40-50 min.on top of stove.
