Hanger Steak with Garlic Butter


  • 1 3-4 pound hanger steak, brought to room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons grainy mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
