Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs. all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1-½ cups (6 oz.) Sargento® Fancy Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 1 Tbs. butter, cut into small pieces
    • 2 Tbs. apple juice or water
    • 2 large, ripe Anjou pears, peeled, cored, cut into thin slices (3 cups)
    • 2 large Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, cut into thin slices (3 cups)
    • ¼ tsp. salt
    • 1/3 cup butter, melted
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

For filling, combine sugar, flour and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add fruit and juice or water; mix well. Transfer mixture to a 1-1/2-quart shallow casserole dish or 11 x 7-inch baking dish; top with butter pieces.
