  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (8-ounce) loaf French bread
  • ¾ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 garlic clove, halved

Cut bread in half crosswise, and cut each piece in half horizontally. Brush oil evenly over cut sides of bread; rub with garlic. Sprinkle oregano, basil, and salt over bread.
