Herbed Cod in White Wine


  • 1 small onion
  • ½ cup(s) dry white wine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pound(s) cod fillets (or other firm white fish)
  • 4 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh herbs, such as parsley, dill, oregano, chives, basil, etc.
  • 2 teaspoon(s) butter
  • 1 lemon (optional)
