Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 (8-ounce) French baguette, cut into 16 slices, toasted
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 (3-ounce) package goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon extravirgin olive oil
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil

Combine first 8 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Coat cheese evenly with basil mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
