Holiday Bread for Easter

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup slivered almonds (70 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoons anise seeds

    • 4 cups all-purpose flour (500 grams), plus extra for dusting
    • 1 teaspoon almond extract
