Ingredients

  • a stick of butter divided into small slices and placed inch the freezer
  • pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon(s) cream
  • 2 teaspoon(s) vinegar
  • 3 egg yokes

Add all ingredients, except for butter, into a double boiler over medium heat. Do not let the water come to a boil. Heat until thicken, then add 1 piece of butter at a time until all are thoroughly mixed. Serve at once.
