Homemade Bagels

  • 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 3 cup(s) flour
  • 1 cup(s) warm water
  • 1 tablespoon(s) dry yeast,, or 1 package
  • sesame seeds, poppy seeds, coarse salt (optional, for topping)
  • 2 quart(s) water
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoon(s) sugar (optional, but give a bit of gloss to the crust)
