Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups slivered almonds
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • ½ cup honey
    • 2 teaspoons aniseed
    • ½ cup sugar

Whisk first 4 ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Whisk oil, sugar, honey, eggs, lemon peel, aniseed and vanilla in large bowl until smooth. Stir in flour mixture, then nuts.
