Honeyed Walnut Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, whisked to blend with 2 teaspoons water (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon orange-flower water*
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons finely grated orange peel
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon peel
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoons finely chopped candied orange peel
    • 1 ½ cups (packed) golden brown sugar
    • 3 cups toasted walnuts, chopped
    • 5 tablespoons (or more) ice water
    • 7 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch cubes
    • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
    • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1. For crust: Blend flour and salt in processor. Add butter; using on/off turns, process until mixture resembles coarse meal.
