  • Lemon wedges
  • 2 tablespoons plain whole-milk yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • ½ cup green or brown lentils
  • 2 teaspoons red jalapeño or serrano chile
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
