Ingredients

  • 3 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 8 cups bread flour
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 cup margarine, melted
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 ½ cups warm milk
    • 1 cup golden raisins
    • 2 egg whites, beaten

1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes. 2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar and salt.
