Iced Orange Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

• Orange paste food coloring, optional
• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
• ¼ cup orange juice
• 2 cups confectioners' sugar
• ICING:
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1-½ teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup shortening

1. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in orange juice and peel.
