Ingredients

  • 4 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened)
  • Raspberry ice cream
  • 6 8-oz shallow ceramic or glass gratin dishes
  • 8 large egg whites
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 ¼ cups sugar
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 3 whole large eggs
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter an 8-inch square baking pan, then line bottom with wax paper and butter paper.
