  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup plain fine dry bread crumbs
  • a deep-fat thermometer
  • 3 ounces Cheddar
  • 3 ounces Monterey Jack
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 12 fresh jalapeños
  • + 2 more ingredients
