Jam/Jelly Filled Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shortening
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • ½ cup jam or ½ cup jelly
    • ½ cup jelly
