  • ¾ cup whole or 2% milk
  • 4 oz. (8 Tbs.) unsalted butter, cut into 6 pieces
  • 6-¾ oz. (1-½ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 3 oz. (¾ cup) confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. table salt
  • 1 lb. semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, broken into squares or very coarsely chopped

    • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
    • 4 large eggs
    • 2 Tbs. Kahlúa
    • 6 oz. (12 Tbs.) cold, unsalted butter,cut into 10 pieces, more for the pan
