Kim's Salsa

Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon ground cumin
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 cup red wine vinegar
• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 2 tablespoons white sugar
• ¾ cup finely chopped jalapeno peppers
• 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, chopped and liquid reserved

1. Combine the tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, green pepper, garlic, jalapenos, sugar, chili powder, vinegar, salt, and cumin in a large saucepan.
