Kulolo (Hawaiian Pudding)


  • 3 cupstaro root, peeled and grated
  • 1 cupfresh coconut, grated
  • 1 cupcoconut water (the liquid inside a coconut)
  • 1 cupcoconut milk
  • ¾ cupbrown sugar

1 Preheat oven to 400 F degrees. 2 Grease and line a loaf pan with foil. 3 Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. 4 Spread the mixture in the pan. 5 Cover with foil and bake 2 hours. Remove foil during last half hour of baking to allow the pudding to brown.
