Lacy Chocolate Cranberry Orange Wafers


  • 1 ½ cups blanched whole almonds, toasted and cooled
  • ½ cup dried sweetened cranberries or cherries
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh orange zest
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream

    • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened), finely chopped
