Ingredients

1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest
2 ½ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
1 pound broccoli florets, about 6 cups
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
¹/₃ cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
