Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ lemon
  • 6 dried apricots
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 5 cups white grape juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey

    • 6 small dried figs
    • 1 ½ cups honeydew melon
    • 2 large eggs
    • 2 large egg yolks
    • 6 pitted prunes
    • ½ orange
    • ½ cup dry white wine
    • 3 tablespoons dark raisins
    • 2 cups whole milk
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 1 large Golden Delicious apple
    • 1 salt
    • 3 tablespoons juices reserved from compote
    • ½ lemon
    • 1 large Bosc pear

Bring grape juice to boil in heavy large saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer uncovered 1 hour. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
