Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup finely grated lemon peel
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • 4 large egg yolks

    • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 10 large egg whites
    • 18 tablespoons sugar
    • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 salt
    • 2 large egg yolks
    • 10 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in processor. Add butter. Using on/off turns, cut in butter until coarse meal forms. Add yolks and process until moist clumps form. Gather dough into ball.
