Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 5 cups all-purpose flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup (1/2 lb.) butter, at room temperature
