Light Pepper Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup(s) nuts
• 4 cup(s) flour
• ¼ teaspoon(s) anise oil
• ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
• 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
• ¾ pound(s) citron
• 1 cup(s) buttermilk
• + 3 more ingredients
• • 2 Eggs
  • 1 ½ cup(s) sugar
  • 1 cup(s) butter

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and oil, then buttermilk, lastly dry ingredients, citron and nutmeats. Mix all together, chill. Roll into balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
