Lime Sugar Cookies


  • 2 cups sugar, divided
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 large egg yolks, at room temperature*
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Zest of 2 limes (about 2 tablespoons)
