Linguine with Broccoli Rabe and Lemon


  • ½ pound linguine
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 slices of bacon, cut into julienne strips
  • 1 bunch (about 1 pound) broccoli rabe
  • ¼ teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, or to taste
