Linguine with Mussels

Ingredients

• ¾ teaspoon salt
• 2 medium shallots
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• 3 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 1 large garlic clove
• ½ red bell pepper
