Ingredients

  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¾ cup cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces, plus 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 cups unsalted macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dark rum
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 large egg yolk, plus 1 large egg

1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a food processor, whirl flour, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Add cold butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg yolk and pulse to combine.
