Madeira Fingers


  • 1/3 cup white sugar for decoration
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons Madeira wine
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/8 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
