Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) raisins
  • 4 cup(s) vinegar (½ for soaking tamarind)
  • 1 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 2 head(s) garlic (small heads)
  • 3 hot peppers- Aji Chombo (small)
  • ¼ pound(s) ginger root
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup(s) salt
    • 4 cup(s) white sugar
    • 4 cup(s) brown sugar
    • 12 ½ pint(s) bottles
    • 1 pound(s) tamarind (fresh)
    • 25 green mangoes

Wash, peel and slice mangoes. Cook in 2 c. vinegar until soft (about 1 hr.) Remove from heat and let cool before mixing in other ingredients.
