Mango-Lime Ice

Ingredients

  • Thin lime wedges (optional)
  • 2 cups chopped peeled ripe mango (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½ tablespoons grated orange rind

Combine first 5 ingredients in a food processor, and process until smooth. Press mango mixture through a sieve over a bowl, reserving liquid; discard pulp.
