Mango Liquado


  • ½ mango, peeled, pitted and sliced into wedges
  • 2 handfuls crushed ice
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 3 tablespoon superfine sugar
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 cup fresh mango puree (about 2 large mangos)

Place mango puree, water, orange juice, sugar, ginger and ice in a blender. Process at medium speed for 15 seconds or until ice is chopped medium fine. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with mango wedges. Recipe courtesy Chef Allen Susser and the National Mango Board.
