Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 6 slices bacon (about 6 oz.)
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • ¾ teaspoon baking soda

1. Preheat oven to 375°F; line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay bacon on sheet and brush both sides with 2 Tbsp. maple syrup.
