Marinara Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 5 tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped

1. In a large skillet, heat oil and saute garlic until light brown and softened. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Stir in tomatoes, sugar, water, basil, and salt and pepper. 2.
