  • ¼ teaspoon(s) black pepper 1 clove garlic, crushed or minced
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) dried whole oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) dried whole basil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) flavored vinegar
  • ¼ cup(s) dry white wine
  • 1 cup(s) Italian style salad dressing
  • 1 pound(s) fresh asparagus spears

Cook asparagus spears until tender-crisp; drain. In bowl, combine Italian style dressing, wine, vinegar, basil, oregano, pepper and garlic; mix well. Place asparagus spears in shallow dish; cover with dressing mixture. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Drain asparagus spears well before serving.
