  • 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano, drained
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ pound hot Italian sausage
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 1 (8-ounce) package uncooked manicotti shells
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese

    • 2 cups whipping cream
    • ½ pound ground round
    • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
    • ½ teaspoon pepper
    • ¾ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions; rinse in cold water. Drain. Place in a single layer on a wire rack; set aside. Remove casings from sausage, and discard.
