Mexican Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup(s) orange juice
  • 2 ½ cup(s) shortening
  • 2 cup(s) sugar
  • 3 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ground aniseed powder
  • 6 cup(s) all purpose flour

    • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder

Preheat the oven to 350. Beat the shortening for a few minutes then add the aniseed powder and half the sugar. Mix well.
