Middle Eastern spiced lamb koftas

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp chopped mint
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinches ground cinnamon
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 1 tsp ground turmeric
    • 1 tsp ground coriander
    • 1 tsp ground cumin seeds
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 500 g minced lamb

1. Mix the lamb in a large bowl with the onion, garlic, spices and coriander and season well with salt and pepper. Using wet hands shape the rest of the mixture into 12 cigar shapes.
