  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 10 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 14 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 10 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 3 tablespoons water
    • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 8 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder (preferably Dutch process)
    • 3 ½ ounces high-quality milk chocolate (such as Lindt or Perugina)

Whisk flour and cocoa in medium bowl. Beat butter and powdered sugar in another medium bowl until well blended. Beat in yolk. Add flour mixture in 2 additions, beating just until blended.
