Mimosa Fruit Cup with Cracked Sugar

Ingredients

  • ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons frozen reduced-calorie whipped topping, thawed
  • 10 commercial waffle cone bowls
  • 1 ½ teaspoons water
  • ½ cup champagne, chilled
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberry halves
  • 2 cups seedless green grapes, halved
