Mississippi Mud

Ingredients

• 1 ¾ cup boiling water
• ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa
• ½ cup packed dark brown sugar
• 2 ounce semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (NOT melted)
• Topping:
• 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • ¹/₈ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ²/₃ cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly oil an 8-by-6-inch baking pan. To prepare batter, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt, stirring well with a fork.
