Mixed Grilled Cheese and Oven Dried Tomato Crostini
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ baguette, cut into 24 1/3-inch-thick slices
- About ¾ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- Fresh herb sprigs, such as thyme, rosemary or sage
- Kosher salt
- 2 pounds ripe plum tomatoes, cored and halved lengthwise
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.Arrange the tomatoes, cut-side up, in a single layer on a parchment or foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt.
