Mixed Grilled Cheese and Oven Dried Tomato Crostini
- Fresh herb sprigs, such as thyme, rosemary or sage
- About ¾ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ baguette, cut into 24 1/3-inch-thick slices
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 pounds ripe plum tomatoes, cored and halved lengthwise
- Kosher salt
