    • ½ cup sliced almonds
    • 1 cup dry sherry
    • ½ dried pasilla chile
    • 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
    • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 9 large eggs
    • 4 ounces cherries
    • ½ dried ancho chile
    • ½ fresh vanilla bean
    • 11 ounces bittersweet chocolate, such as Hawaiian Vintage Chocolate
    • ½ cup sugar
