Morel Mushroom Sauce


  • 3 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
  • ½ cup(s) stock from rehydrating mushrooms (more if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) garlic, chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon(s) green onion, chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoon(s) fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 ounce(s) dried morel mushrooms
  • salt to taste
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • pepper to taste
    • grated cheese to garnish

Place dried mushrooms in a 2 cup bowl filled with warm water. Let stand for approximately 45 minutes. Remove morels.
