Moroccan Bouquet Garni
Ingredients
- 2 cinnamon stick
- 3 allspice berries
- 1 fresh ginger
- 3 sprigs fresh cilantro (stems and leaves)
- 1 to 2 fresh hot green chiles, split, seeds left in if you like it hot
- 3 sprigs fresh Italian parsley, stems and leaves
Tie all ingredients in a bit of cheesecloth, knotting it with a piece of string or thread. Use in the Seven-Vegetable Seven-Spice Tagine with Couscous.
