  • 1 yellow onion, coarsely grated on a box grater
  • Yogurt-mint sauce:
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Kebabs:
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 ½ teaspoons minced fresh mint (or 1/2 tsp. dried)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • ½ cup whole-milk yogurt
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ½ clove garlic, minced
    • 1 pound cubed boneless lamb cut into 2-inch cubes
    • Salt and pepper

Mix together lamb, onion, olive oil, cumin, 1 tsp. each salt and pepper, and cinnamon. Let stand for 15 minutes.
